The construction of a new outer tram line promises longterm renewal in the Plaine Commune urban community northeast of Paris, but residents do not have a clear idea of its shortterm effects. What is their take on the unexpected arrival of this tram line? How could it they use it in their everyday lives?

To answer these questions, Talking Things and Plausible Possible held a series of workshops with residents of the town of Stains, with two main aims: announce the journey times between stations and share tips on using the future tram line.

The prototype created nearby the future StainsLa Cerise station provides information on the arrival of the new tram. Tips from residents were collected and reproduced in installations located

where the future tram will pass, both in the form of an audio messages with tips from residents of the neighbouring town and information displays. The tips also served as a useful means of getting to know other towns.
